Plum Kuchen

This weekend I made a plum kuchen (Kuchen is German for 'cake.') It was really nice! I modified it to provide a more nutritious dessert. Instead of sugar, I used allulose. Allulose is a plant-based sugar substitute that won't raise your blood sugar levels. Also, instead of 1 cup of all-purpose flour, I used 1/2 cup of whole wheat pastry flour and 1/2 cup of spelt flour. Using whole-grain flour instead of white flour provides vitamins and fiber that your body needs. Try it, you might like it!
